1) Personal Care Assistants - Bunbury, Kelmscott and Subiaco
Due to recent growth and expansion, RFWA has opportunities for dedicated Personal Care Assistants to join their enthusiastic teams at Bunbury, Kelmscott and Subiaco.
RFWA is looking for empathetic and enthusiastic candidates who appreciate the nature of mental illness and can provide appropriate responses to people's needs. You will need to be able to develop ongoing supportive relationships with clients, and have a demonstrated ability to work in a creative and sensitive manner
Duties:
Ø Assist consumers in maintaining their property in a clean and hygienic condition, through positive encouragement and guidance.
Ø Work with consumers to enable them to develop the day-to-day skills they will need in order to continue their recovery journey.
Requirements:
- Minimum essential requirement: substantial demonstrated experience in relevant work environments.
- Current Police Clearance Certificate.
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
- Current Driver’s licence.

2) Casual Relief Recovery Workers and Recovery Support Workers - Bunbury
The Community Supported Residential Unit is a 24 hour residential program for people who are living with a mental illness and are ready to live in a community setting. RFWA is looking for staff who will work in a Recovery Oriented way to enable participants to embark on their recovery journey in a home like community setting.

The Community Options program is a 24 hour residential program. The participants are long stay patients from Graylands Hospital who have been identified as being ready for living in a community setting. RFWA is looking for staff who will work in a Recovery Oriented way to enable participants to embark on their recovery journey in a home like community setting.

4) Casual Relief Recovery Workers and Recovery Support Workers - various sites
Under the supervision of the Site Coordinator, as a Relief employee you will be called upon to cover in the absence of either a Recovery Worker or Recovery Support Worker to enable the process of recovery in individuals who experience mental distress with the aim of living a full and satisfying life.Click for more
5) Site Coordinator - Westminster ($41,817 - $49374 + super)
Under the supervision of the Program Manager, a Site Coordinator will manage staff on the site, deliver some direct services and ensure that the team delivers relevant services to consumers. You will therefore, ensure that clients are assisted in their goals towards independent living through implementation of an appropriate recovery program. You will also manage the assessment of client progress and the appropriate keeping of associated records.
Requirements:
- Minimum educational qualification requirements:
relevant 3-year university qualification plus substantial experience in team leadership position
- Current Police Clearance Certificate.
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
- Current Driver’s licence.
6) Recovery Support Worker - Subiaco ($34,339 - $38,327 + super)
Under the supervision of the Program Manager, a Site Coordinator will manage staff on the site, deliver some direct services and ensure that the team delivers relevant services to consumers. You will therefore, ensure that clients are assisted in their goals towards independent living through implementation of an appropriate recovery program. You will also manage the assessment of client progress and the appropriate keeping of associated records.
Requirements:

relevant qualifications at Certificate IV level
- Current Police Clearance Certificate.
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
- Current Driver’s licence.
7) Recovery Worker - Carer Respite Program ($38,327 - $42,400 + car + super)
Working under a Team Leader, you will be required to spend time with people who have mental health difficulties in a range of enjoyable, stimulating and sometimes challenging activities such as walking, movies, bowling, cycling, bush walking canoeing, horse riding and camping. You will therefore, need to be able to develop ongoing supportive relationships with consumers, and have a demonstrated ability to work in a creative and sensitive manner.
